SENTINEL SEWER INSPECTION SYSTEM

Aries Sentinel sewer inspection system is an integral mobile unit for high efficiency mainline assessments
COMPACT, LIGHT-WEIGHT MOBILE SYSTEM PROVIDES QUICK SETUP AND OPERATION

Aries’ Sentinel sewer inspection system is easy to transport, set up and operate. This basic all-in-one system offers easy maintenance and troubleshooting. A state-of-the-art camera provides assessments of mainline pipes from 8 to 36 in (200 to 910 mm). The system combines a lightweight reel, a quick set-up tractor and a video camera. A controller provides convenient operation of the system.

SENTINEL SEWER INSPECTION SYSTEM PROVIDES QUICK ASSESSMENTS

The Sentinel sewer inspection system is self-contained unit operated by an all-in-one controller. It can be used as an entry-level inspection system, or function as an ancillary unit, shared among CCTV truck for simple, quick inspections.

A compact, lightweight reel enables the Sentinel to be moved on-site in an inspection vehicle, in a pickup, or an all-terrain-vehicle. A manual lift keeps the camera centered for inspections in 8 to 36 in (200 to 910 mm) pipes with various wheel sizes and a Large Line Kit.

The Sentinel was designed with minimal parts facilitating long service life and low-maintenance.

TRACTOR SETS UP QUICKLY

The non-steerable tractor for the Sentinel sewer inspection system features a manual lift to keep the camera centered in the pipe. With three wheel sizes, the tractor can be easily configured for standard operation in 8 to 15 in (200 to 380 mm) pipes.

Modified with an optional Large Line Kit, shown at right, the tractor can quickly navigate pipes up to 36 in (910 mm) and larger. An optional auxiliary LED light evenly illuminates view and video details in larger pipe.

LIGHTWEIGHT CABLE REEL

The Sentinel reel is fabricated from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy for high strength and light weight. The unit includes 700 ft (210 m) of cable. Threaded connections eliminate pigtails and strain reliefs.

The reel features an emergency stop, a manual crank in the event of power failure, and a water-resistant electronics compartment.

TECHNICALLY ADVANCED CAMERA

The Sentinel sewer inspection system captures high-quality video with its Pan & Tilt camera featuring:

  • Auto focus and white balance for recording quality video
  • A 40:1 optical zoom to capture fine detail
  • Bright, efficient LED arrays surrounding the lens provide well-illuminated images in pipes to 24 in (610 mm); 36 in (910 mm) with optional auxiliary LED light
  • A 512 Hz beacon helps locate the camera during inspections
